Last week I had the pleasure of watching a documentary on Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama. I was somewhat surprised to see that almost all of the shots he takes are hip shots. I have never been a fan of the technique, but having seen I decided to give it a try myself. The results of really working it were much better than I had expected.

I am really liking this borrowed infra-red modified camera. Workflow in IR is time consuming, but it really does impart a distinctive look to the images.
